A one-day meeting to promote synergy and further engagement across the biological and physical sciences. This meeting focuses on advances in microscopy research emerging at the frontiers between physics and biology, covering the progress and challenges in imaging biological materials and opportunities for low-dose imaging in cryogenic and liquid conditions enabled by new instrumentation in the physical sciences. Recent developments associated with atomistic modelling of molecular systems and data analysis of large volumes will also be presented. The meeting will provide opportunities for established researchers and students to present their work and know-how with the aim to promote networking and future collaboration in this fertile and exciting multidisciplinary field across the interface between the biological and physical disciplines.
“Here in the UK and Ireland, we at Quantum Design UK and Ireland (QDUKI) are excited to present our growing portfolio of microscopic and spectroscopic technology – much of which is either correlative or synergistic to our full portfolio – thereby offering researchers and project partners a complete solution of testing equipment, and not just one system.“
Dr. Satyam Ladva, Technical Product Manager, QDUKI

The comprehensive range includes microscopy, cryogenics, spectroscopy, optics and optical metrology, and imaging cameras ensuring customers can find the right solutions for their research applications.
“From our Microscope/Spectroscopy suppliers such as Sigray, with their correlative synchrotron grade X-ray technology, to IXRF Systems, with their synergistic EDS & MicroXRF capabilities, RHK Technologies, with their fantastic range of cryogenic correlative SPM systems, and now our own manufactured correlative AFM-SEM system in the FusionScope, QDUKI offers a large portfolio of systems suitable for a range of correlative Microscopy and Spectroscopy capabilities – which continues to grow! “
