Recently, Quantum Design UK and Ireland’s Service Engineer, Jordan Thompson, visited the Materials Research Facility, part of the UK Atomic Energy Authority. The (COVID19 safe!) visit was to install a Quantum Design DynaCool – our Cryogen free Physical Property Measurement System.
The system will be used to study samples of superconducting materials, both pre- and post-irradiation to better understand the suitability of these materials for use in fusion reactors. There are currently two such reactors at this site.
About the PPMS DynaCool
