We are pleased to announce Dr. Dirk Haft will be joining us as Regional CEO – Quantum Design Europe, effective November 2025. A physicist by training with a PhD in semiconductor quantum structures, Dr. Haft brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in technology-driven companies, having served as CEO and Executive Board Member at IBC Solar AG, congatec GmbH, and WITTENSTEIN SE.
We also want to share that David Want, Managing Director for our UK & Ireland office, has decided to retire from Quantum Design and explore other opportunities, effective October 31, 2025. We are grateful for David’s commitment and impact during his 20-year tenure, and we wish him every success in this next chapter. Dr. Luke Nicholls will now lead the UKI office as Interim Managing Director. Many of you will know Luke already as Sales Manager here at Quantum Design UK and Ireland. Luke has been with the company for 5 years ensuring our customers receive the right solutions for their measurement challenge.
