The new ImageIR® 9800 is a high-resolution, cooled long-wave camera. It features a detector format of (1,280 × 1,024) IR pixels in HD format and thus offers four times the pixel resolution of standard systems. A 12 µm pitch guarantees razor-sharp images, even of the smallest thermal signatures and highly dynamic objects.
With its sensitivity range in the long-wave atmospheric window, the camera is particularly well suited for outdoor applications. It can resolve distant objects with the highest level of detail, for example when monitoring the condition of wind turbine rotor blades.
