Create point Raman spectra whilst simultaneously imaging a sample

Previously boasting 90 second Raman spectroscopy, the FERGIE Imaging Spectrometer can now create point Raman spectra while simultaneously imaging a sample. This is done by using additional illumination components and a sample translation stage to direct the Raman Laser to the point of the imaged sample that a spectrum is to be taken on.

With the previous integration of the FERGIE with Montana Instruments cryostations to create a cryo-Raman setup - it just goes to show that with the FERGIE, applications are only limited by your imagination..

  • 2D materials 

Raman microscopy combines the power of two commonly used analytical technologies. It provides both imaging and spectral information which is particularly useful for heterogeneous material analysis.
